MEET THE AUTHORS

Camilla and Freddy Vinterstø Halstensen live in Norway with their son Theodor and their dog Frans. The concept of The Milky Way Kids was first thought of by Camilla when she was just 10 years old. Being a 'feeler' in a family of 'thinkers' was the reason why she wanted to to inspire others to respect and understand each other's differences.

As well as storybook-writing and creation, they are both passionate about the welfare of children, and they look after children together through the Norwegian Child Welfare Service. A love of spending time together as a family forms the core of both Camilla and Freddy's work.
